Science Week Sparks Curiosity with Wildlife Visit at Arley
To mark Science Week, Year 1 at Arley Primary Academy welcomed a special visitor, Wildlife Katie from Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
Katie led an engaging session all about hedgehogs, helping the children learn where they live, what they eat, and why they hibernate. The pupils were fascinated by these much loved animals and asked thoughtful questions throughout.
As part of the session, the children also took part in a hands on activity, creating their own hedgehog homes using sticks and leaves. This gave them the opportunity to apply what they had learned in a creative and practical way.
Year 1 had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed this memorable Science Week experience.
